“Stand Still… and See”

“Stand Still… and See”

“Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord… The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” — Exodus 14:13–14

It’s a story we’re familiar with.  Israel’s back is up against it—water in front, Pharaoh behind, panic all around. And then God parts the impossible.

To that end, check out the review that we just got that made our week:

“Just when you feel like things are getting crazy in the world, remember Moses parted the Red Sea and led his people to safety! Love how comfortable and high quality BibleSocks are and the reminder they give!” — Cody T.

Let’s break that awesome verse down a bit…

  • “Fear ye not.” God doesn’t shame us for having fear—He replaces it. The instruction isn’t “be fearless,” it’s “don’t let fear drive you.”
  • “Stand still.” Not “do nothing,” but stop freaking out. Plant your feet long enough to look up. Pausing isn’t quitting—it’s trusting.
  • “See the salvation of the Lord.” When Moses raises the staff, it’s not Moses-power; it’s God’s deliverance. He makes the path where there was none.
  • “The Lord shall fight for you.” Israel’s job wasn’t to beat Pharaoh; it was to follow God through the gap He opened.

Now, we does our friend Cody love the message on our Red Seas socks so much?

  • News cycle got you tense? Stand still. Scroll-less. Breathe. “The Lord will fight for you.”
  • Family stress? Before the snarky comments—stand still, then step where God parts the water in your relationships.
  • Business decisions? Look at where you are—but make space to see what God can do. God often reveals a third option when we thought there were only two.

Our Red Sea BibleSocks were designed for days like this—sea-blue and earth tones striping like waves and shoreline. Every time you put them on: Not today, Pharaoh. Not today.

“Stand Still… and See” in those BibleSocks!

Let God part what you can’t push through.Pick one situation that feels “blocked.” Write it down. Apply Exodus 14:13–14 over all of it. Then take the next faithful step—through whatever God parts.

Grace for your week,
The BibleSocks Team
