He Is Risen… and So Is His Goodness Around Us

Happy Easter, my friends.

He is risen.

Here’s a quick story from this past week.

A guy had been reaching out to me about his marketing services. Nothing pushy—just one of those persistent, kind follow-ups.

Eventually, I responded with a simple:

“Thanks, but we’re good right now.”

And like I always do, I signed off with:

“God Bless.”

(It’s been in my email signature for years… just how I roll.)

He replied again—still kind, still professional—but this time he added:

“Thanks for the ‘God bless.’ Have a blessed Easter weekend. He is risen.

So I wrote back:

“He absolutely is risen. Blessings to you and your team.”

And his final message?

“Same to you, my brother.”

That was it!
No deal.
No transaction.
Just two people…

Connecting for a moment over something real.

And honestly?

It meant something.

You never know how something small—like a kind word or even an email signature—might resonate with someone.

Saying no doesn’t mean being rude. Kindness still matters.

And maybe most importantly:

Faith doesn’t always have to be the topic… but it can always be the tone.

Not every moment is a sermon.

Not every interaction is a big, bold declaration.

Sometimes faith shows up in:

  • The way you treat people
  • The words you choose
  • The kindness you extend
  • The hope you carry

Quiet.
Simple.
Real.

That’s why I love our “Be of Good Cheer” BibleSocks.

Because let’s be honest…

The world can feel heavy sometimes.

There’s a lot of noise.
A lot of fear.
A lot of discouragement.

And into that?

Jesus offers something different:

“Be of good cheer.”

Not because everything is easy…

But because He lives.

Because the tomb is empty.
Because hope is real.
Because light still wins.

You don’t have to preach.

You don’t have to perform.

Just live it.

Let your faith show up in your kindness.
Let your hope show up in your tone.
Let your belief show up in how you treat people.

Because there is still so much goodness in the world.

So this Easter…

Share the good news in your own normal and natural ways.

A kind word.
A simple message.
A quiet reminder.

It matters more than you think.

He is risen.

And that’s something worth celebrating—today and every day.

God Bless, my friends.
