FOR NOW...
If you’re in a hard season right now, I have two words for you:
For now.
I’ve got a small Post-it note in my office that just says that.
Nothing fancy.
Just… for now.
Those two words have carried more peace into my life than I expected.
Because when life feels overwhelming, it’s easy to assume the present moment is permanent.
This is just how it’s going to be.
This struggle defines the story.
This chapter is the whole book.
But it isn’t.
Maybe your season looks like uncertainty.
Maybe it’s financial pressure.
Maybe it’s a relationship that feels strained.
Maybe it’s a loved one wrestling with faith.
Maybe it’s your health not being where you hoped it would be.
It’s real. It’s heavy. It’s hard.
But it may not be forever.
For now doesn’t deny reality.
It simply refuses to make it permanent.
Those two words create space:
Space for growth.
Space for grace.
Space for perseverance.
And most importantly—space for God.
That’s where Proverbs 3 has been anchoring me:
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
When we lean only on our understanding, the hard season feels endless.
When we trust the Lord, we remember that He sees more than we do.
Trust doesn’t mean pretending things aren’t difficult.
It means believing that difficulty isn’t the final word.
Our Trust in the Lord (Proverbs 3) BibleSocks design is a simple reminder of that posture. Not a guarantee that life will be easy—but a declaration of where our weight rests when it’s not.

This chapter may be hard…
for now.
But it is not the whole book.
And God is still writing.
